These devices are made up of two separate voltage comparators that are designed to function over a wide range of voltages from a single power supply. Dual-supply operation is also conceivable as long as the difference between the two sources is 2 V to 36 V and VCC is at least 1.5 V higher than the input common-mode voltage. The current drain is unaffected by the supply voltage.
To achieve wired-AND relationships, the outputs CAN be connected to other open-collector outputs. The LM193 is rated for temperatures ranging from 55 to 125 degrees Celsius. The LM293 and LM293A have a temperature range of 25 to 85 degrees Celsius. The LM393 and LM393A are designed to operate in temperatures ranging from 0 to 70 degrees Celsius. The LM2903 is rated for temperatures ranging from 40 to 125 degrees Celsius.
